Terms & Conditions

Engaging Dot provides video editing services — including long-form editing, short-form editing, VSLs, and podcast editing — for YouTube creators, founders, and other content creators, primarily in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Exact scope, turnaround time, and pricing for a given project are confirmed directly with you before work begins, based on your package and requirements.

When you submit a project enquiry through this site, we'll follow up to confirm details and, where applicable, provide a demo edit so you can see our approach before committing. A formal engagement begins once we've agreed on scope and you've confirmed you'd like to proceed.

We revise your edit until you're satisfied with the result, within the scope of the original brief. Requests that significantly change the original brief (a different video entirely, a substantially different edit style, etc.) may be treated as a new project.

You retain ownership of the raw footage, brand assets, and any material you provide us. Once a project is paid for in full, ownership of the final edited deliverable transfers to you. We may, unless you ask us not to, reference completed work in our own portfolio and marketing materials.

Pricing and payment terms are agreed with you directly for your specific package before work begins. Continued access to revisions and delivery of final files is conditional on payment terms being met as agreed.

Either party may end an ongoing engagement with reasonable notice. Work already completed up to that point remains payable; any prepaid amount for work not yet started will be handled fairly on a case-by-case basis.

We aim to deliver every project to the standard we've agreed with you. To the extent permitted by law, Engaging Dot's liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, where Engaging Dot is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms as our services evolve. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
